SK Telecom T1 ( now T1 ) is a korean multi-gaming esports arrangement backed by the communications giants, presently competing in LoL Champions Korea ( LCK ), South Korea ‘s primary coil league. previously, the SK Telecom organization sponsored two baby teams, SK Telecom T1 S and SK Telecom T1 K. SK Telecom T1 is the entirely team to win the World Championship three times and besides the lone team to win the “ trio Crown ” : victories at the IEM World Championship, Riot Mid-Season Invitational, and Riot World Championship.

The original SKT roll that was formed consisted of Impact, Bengi, Faker, Piglet and PoohManDu. Although in their beginning respective months they would only accomplish a few minor finishes at smaller events, american samoa soon as they found their footstep they immediately won Champions 2013 Summer. This would be their first base major title which started the organization ‘s historic dominance and established a competition with the KT Rolster organization ( known dearly as the Telecom Wars ), the team that they beat 3-2 in the finals to capture the title. They followed this up by beating KT again in the Regional Finals to deny them a point at the 2013 World Championship and qualify themselves. At Worlds the team was for the most separate wholly dominant, entirely being challenged by China ‘s Oh My God and their local competitors NaJin Black Sword.
