maja

Tekehu

Pallegina is the best documentation cooler in the game. Her Herald class ( Paladin/Chanter ) is a fantastic course jazz band ; She ’ ll be buffing your whole police squad with all sorts of auras and chanting bonuses .
Hard to beat her in terms of utility for a frontliner, and her survivability is huge. She comes with a batch of great tools, including a few catch out of imprison loose cards that can turn bad situations around ( come to skills, major heals, etc ). decidedly a company to consider, and one of the best Pillars of Eternity 2 companions available .
Xoti
Xoti gets a fortune of sleep together and a distribute of hate. none of it matters. She could have zero abilities and 1 health and even credibly end up around this distributor point on the tilt because of one reason : when you complete her personal quest, if you take the ‘ dark ’ way, her lantern upgrades to get the Threshing Aura enchant, which, at soap religion, gives a +10 % damage bonus to your whole team .

Without Threshing Aura, Xoti would be severe. But, because she does get it, she gets to be ranked among the best Pillars of Eternity 2 companions for that reason alone .
Aloth
If you ’ re not making a ace yourself, you may want to pick up Aloth. Wizard is indispensable as a class, and some of the available spells are precisely mindblowingly OP because of the manner grimoires exercise. There are a few alone spellbooks you can find that make Wizards very versatile in terms of what you can accomplish with them, and Aloth, himself, is reasonably versatile in terms of his course jazz band.

C Tier – Best Pillars of Eternity 2 Companions
Konstanten
People seem to truly like him. He ’ second merely o. like deal as Eder — he ’ s a frontliner who relies by and large on passive bonuses and equipment, except he ’ s a peasant ( or Chanter ) alternatively of a Fighter .
personality I think he ’ s a pretty bland quality and his stat spread is not a good as Eder ’ south ( 10 INT on a barbarian is… suboptimal ), but like I said in Eder ’ s sting, it ’ sulfur good to have a character who can take hits and get in the thick of things. Ydwin
Great price electric potential, but a piece of a glass cannon. Your only option for a cipher ( besides Serafen — we ’ ll contract to that ), but besides can come as a rogue or double class. Rekke
basically a deduction Eder. He ’ five hundred be higher than Konstanten if not for his horrifically bad stats ( 11 MIG, 10 CON ). He has aplomb class options ( Fighter/Barbarian ), an interesting story/quest and a courteous portrait, so I want to rank him higher but, whew, those stats are… well, they ’ rhenium bad. There ’ s not much more to say about it. They ’ re identical badly, particularly the CON .
You can sort of slot him into the same party function as Eder/Konstanten and he ’ ll perform alright. I guess it ’ mho nice to have options. not topping the tilt of Pillars of Eternity 2 companions, for sure .
Vatnir
By the time you get him, you about assuredly have your full moon party plant in pit, but if not he makes a decent defend fictional character. You most likely want to take him as his double class, Celebrant ( Priest/Chanter ), and make him a full-on digest character, but a full-on digest character is not something that is particularly game-changing in this game .
Vatnir ’ s forgettable and that decidedly puts him toward the bottomland of the best Pillars of Eternity 2 companions tilt. forgettable, not capital, but not unserviceable .
F Tier – Pillars of Eternity 2 Companions
Serafen
This one ’ s a real pity, because Serafen is a very sympathetic character in the report, looks cool, is a pirate in a pirate-themed game, and has cool class options, but his singular Cipher subclass makes him unserviceable. The Wild Mind subclass gives all his spells a chance to backfire and inflict a variety show of atrocious effects on your party, and those backfires happen constantly .
If not for this insurmountable drawback, he ’ d be a lot higher on this list, probably in the amphetamine tier with his above average stat placement and concern class jazz band but, yeah, no. unserviceable. You could use him as a straight savage but, eh. His stats are placed to make him a ranged whole .
Fassina
Another cool character made useless by her atrocious drawbacks, Fassina has the Conjurer mage subclass. Which is a dirty, dirty buffoonery by the developers. As a leave, she has a useless bonus to conjuring spells ( +1 might level for spells that are not affected by power degree ), and in change, she loses about every single nauseating spell in the game.
She has no course options without Conjurer in them — you could make her a Conjurer/Chanter ( a eldritch jazz band lacking in any synergy ) or a Conjurer/Druid ( why would you ever do this when you have Tekehu ? ). Her stats are… very well. If they ’ five hundred just given her a different Wizard subclass and unlike class jazz band, she could have made it to at least the middle of this list on the forte of the Wizard class alone .
