As the report goes on and her tragic backstory is revealed, Joker helps the young girl to embrace her true identity as Sumire and finally join the Phantom Thieves, adopting the code mention “ Violet. ”
Since the bet on ‘s free, reception towards the newfangled character has been overwhelmingly positive, with many fans even going sol far as to hypothesis that she is Joker ‘s canon love interest in Persona 5 Royal.
