Guide To The Skeld Map
While surfing different guides, I found a list of things you need to know about a map. And decided, that it would be cool to create full list of information about map The Skeld. Using this information, you will be able to better catch impostors and better make as imposter. Lets go !
Lets start with the simplest – function of the area. People spawn in cafeteria around the mesa with button for emergency meetings.
One Step Tasks
When you finish one of these tasks, tax bar moves. nowadays moving to task themselves :
Swipe Card In admin. Takes 2-3 seconds, but sometimes it takes longer because people fail to complete it on the first try. No vivification .
Start Reactor In nuclear reactor. Takes around 16 seconds, but if you make a err, you should start over. No liveliness .
Unlock Manifolds In reactor. Takes around 7 seconds but if you make a mistake, you should start over. No liveliness .
Clean O2 Filter
In O2. Takes around 6-8 seconds. No animation .Submit Scan
In medbay. Takes precisely 10 seconds. You can see an animation of the first picture .
In shields. Takes 2-3 seconds. After you complete this undertaking, shields on photograph starting signal radiance ( if they were n’t glowing before that )Calibrate Distributor
In electric. In best case scenario takes around 4 seconds but may take much more because this undertaking is unmanageable. No animationClear Asteroids
In weapons. Takes around 12 seconds. animation is, these guns are shooting .
Stabilize Steering In navigation. Takes around 2 seconds, actually easy job. No animation .
Chart Course In seafaring. Takes 4-6 seconds. No animation .
Several Steps Tasks
Task bar moves entirely when the final step of tax is completed .Download (upload) Data
first step may be in on of there rooms : cafeteria, weapons, seafaring, communications, electric. Second ( and last ) step in in admin board. Downloading and upload takes from 9 to 12 seconds. No animationEmpty Garbage/Empty Chute
inaugural mistreat in cafeteria or O2. Second ( and last ) step in memory. Takes 2-4 seconds. animation is on the beginning mental picture .
first and third step in repositing. second gradation in upper engine. Fourth ( and last ) mistreat in lower engine. Takes 4 seconds. No liveliness .Divert Power
first step in electrical. Second ( and last ) gradation in one of there rooms : security, o2, communications, upper and lower engines, navigation, shields, weapons ( but not in nuclear reactor ). Takes 1-2 seconds. No animation .
Align Engine Output One step in upper engine and the other one in lower locomotive. Takes 2 seconds. No animation .
In medbay. Each inaugural and second step take around 2 seconds, but you besides have to wait 60 seconds between steps. No animation .
Fix Wiring Consists of 3 steps in these rooms : electric, repositing, admin, navigation, cafeteria, security system. They always go in this order, for example you will never fix wiring in storage after fixing it in admin. Takes around 5 seconds ( but some people manage to do it faster ). No animation .
You can use these panels to monitor natural process in the ship and you are probably to found some clues. There are two such panels in this map.
Admin Panel In admin room. With this, you can check how many people are there in each room .
note 1. Corpses count a people as well, so if person is staying for excessively long is some room, they are probably dead .
note 2 : Impostors hiding in vents consider angstrom people as good, indeed if person disappears in one room and person appears in another board at the lapp moment, you can be 99 % sure that this is venting .Security Cams In security. When person ( except ghosts ) is using cams right now, all cams are blinking loss. here you can see which television camera shows which area :
imposter are able to use vents to hide, hunt or get to some set faster. here is the map of all vents in The Skeld .
To distract crew from doing tasks or debar attention from their crimes, Impostors are able to use respective sabotages .
Close Doors close all doors in a room for 10 seconds ( cooldown is 17 seconds after close or 7 seconds after opening again ). You can close several doors simultaneously and use right after using others sabotages ( while they are on cooldown ) .
Oxygen Depleted If not fixed and no body reported in 30 seconds, crew will lose. To fix you have to enter 2 5-digit codes, one in admin, one in o2 .Reactor Meltdown
If not fixed and no body reported in 30 seconds, crowd will lose. To fix you have to press and hold two hand readers in reactor at the same time. One hand proofreader is on top and one is on bottom of nuclear reactor .Lights Out
Until fixed, gang ‘s sight will be 5 times worse ( you are closely blind ). To fix you have to turn on switches. This empanel is lapp for everyone, so you may interfere with early people who fix this sabotage ( or imposter who is making worse on purpose ) .
Comms Sabotaged Until fixed, you ca n’t see your job number, tax bar and use monitor panels .
note : During sabotages ( except closed doors ) you ca n’t call an emergency meet.
