First off, the idea of “ scrapping your debris ” plays out a piece differently than one might suspect. There are actually a few different types of trash that you can use or scrap .
Scrapping Junk in Your Settlements
The foremost type of debris we ’ ll cover is the rusted cars, metal, trees, and other consort useless things that take up space in your settlements. You can easily get rid of most of this ( though you can merely get rid of certain buildings ) by opening up the build up menu via the Workshop or View push button, and then by pressing R ( or the applicable console table button ) to scrap it. You ’ ll be given a curtly list of the items you receive from it, and the items will go directly into your Workshop ’ s armory .
Scrapping “junk” Weapons and Armor
The second type of debris you can scrap is weapons and armor that you can ’ t manipulation. To scrap weapons and armor you ’ ll need to visit the applicable craft post, and locate the items you want to scrap in the tilt. You can then press the SCRAP button ( which will be outlined on the bed of your riddle ), and your character will scrap those armor and weapons .
Scrapping Useless Junk
The final type of debris you can scrap is that found within your stock via the JUNK pill of your Pip-Boy. This includes items like toasters, Nuka Cola bottles, beer bottles, coolant caps, and all the other useless methamphetamine that you presently have overflowing out of your pockets. If you ’ ra anything like me ( and 75 % of the early Fallout players out there ) you hoard things like you wouldn ’ thyroxine think. sure, you might not have a use for that carton of cigarettes, but hey, you might need it one sidereal day – right ?
